I picked the wrong date for payroll so do I delete all the paychecks and start over?

Let me share some info on when you can change your pay period on the paycheck. In QuickBooks, you can edit, delete, or void a paycheck if you still haven't sent your payroll to us. Also, depending on your processing time and payroll service, you may be able to edit, delete, or void a paycheck.

Please refer to the steps below to delete payroll entered into the program:

1. On the left pane, go to the Payroll menu.
2. Select Employees.
3. Under the Run Payroll button, click Paycheck list.
4. On the Action column, beside the Print, tap the dropdown to choose Delete, Void, or Edit to make some changes.

If you're having trouble deleting, voiding, or editing a paycheck, your best action is to contact our customer support team. They have the tools and expertise to help you change the pay period on the paycheck if necessary.
