Question

I posted an IRS notice in the Resolution Center 10 days ago and they still have not assigned a "tax expert" to the case. What is taking so long? This is ridiculous!!

Can someone please be assigned ASAP so this can be resolved?  That is what I am paying for.  This is the 2nd notice I have sent the tax department and they have done nothing.

I understand the urgency of this matter, sharon. Let me redirect you to our support team. This way, they can review and follow up on the tax notice you've sent.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. Click Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

In addition, you can check out this article to learn on how you can automate your sales tax calculation when you create an invoice or sales receipt: Use automated sales tax on an invoice or sales receipt in QuickBooks Online.

I'll keep an eye out for your reply. If you have further questions about tax or any QuickBooks-related concerns, feel free to include them in the comments. We're here to assist you 24/7.

I already spoke to the support team.  They could not do anything b/c it's all about the tax people.  I guess I will have to handle this myself which is very disappointing since I pay for the tax service.  He told me they might take 30-45 days.  This is the 2nd notice I sent them and they never responded to the 1st one.  Extremely frustrating to say the least
