I upgraded to Quickbooks 2021 Pro and now tsheets time tracking data does not populate in the payroll window.

The web app appears to sync properly, but there is no current or historical time data populated in the payroll window.  Waiting on a support callback for this issue.

Hello, RiseF. I can help you fix this.

 

The first thing you need to do is ensure you have the latest version of QBDT installed.  Once done, we can run the Verify/Rebuild utility to detect the data damage. Here's how:

 

  1. Click File.
  2. Go to Utilities, then choose Verify Data.
  3. If QuickBooks detected no problems, there's no further action needed. If you receive a message, "Your data has lost integrity," the file is damaged. Just continue to Rebuild Data to correct the problem.
  4. When you Rebuild Data, you'll receive a message to backup your company file, just click OK. The utility starts as soon as the back up is finished.
  5. Click OK when you get the message "Rebuild has completed."
  6. Run Verify Data again to check for remaining data damage.

The steps can help you resolve the issue.

 

However, if the issue persists, you may consider reviewing your Tsheets setup.

Hi there and thanks for your proposed solution.  Before I received your response I did visit with a customer service rep.  They indicated that everything was set up properly on the QB side.  After reading your message checked for new updates, even though I had just updated the program last week when I purchased it.  There was one "critical update" that loaded.  I restarted the app and re-synced the time data from t-sheets (both ends), re-ran the web service and there were hours populated for this week - one entry was incorrectly duplicated - but we caught it.  Lastly, I ran the verify data utility you suggested below and there is no problems with the file data.  Hopefully the issue is resolved.  Will report back next week if there are any further issues.
