Hi there, stewsheating.  I know a way where to find your 941 forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

As long as these forms were archived, you can retrieve them in QuickBooks Online. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
  2. Click the Filings tab.
  3. Go to the Forms column, and then click the View Archived Forms link below the Quarterly Forms section.
  4. From the list of archived forms, find forms.
  5. Click the 941 link on the far right.
  6. Click the View button on the next page.

If you manually filed your tax form

  1. Go to Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
  2. Click the Filings tab.
  3. Choose Resources, then Archived forms and filings.
  4. Filter the form type you want to view from the dropdown menu.
  5. Select the form name, then View.

If you've encountered an error when generating the form, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this. There are times when the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, which causes some errors or unusual responses.

We can start accessing your account using a different or private browser. You can use either of these shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once logged in, try to generate the form again. If it works, I recommend clearing your browser's cache. Doing so will remove the historical data and access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also switch to a different supported browser.
