Question

I want to remove the setup guide from the dashboard. I have completed it with check marks and it will not go away. How do I get rid of it? It is very annoying.

I can see how you want to remove this option from your dashboard. I have a few details that you'll have to know so you'll be guided on how the setup works, jheckart.

 

After you've completed the setup in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, this guide will automatically be removed from the Dashboard. Although, it may take some time for this option to go away since there are times that you're still seeing them even if you've already completed the prompts, you'll have the option to temporarily hide them from your screen by clicking the Hide button. I've attached a screenshot for your guide:

 

 

With this, always ensure you're also using the supported requirement for your computer's operating system, your internet speed depends on your system so you'll not encounter issues along the way when using your QBO account. Thank you. I have completed the setup. I actually completed it about 60 days ago yet it is still there. I’m assuming at this point, I will simply have to live with it and have no control over the system for which I am paying. I was using the most recent version of the installed version and it was wonderful. I detest the online version and am very much regretting my choice to change. As an accountant, it is not a real accounting system anymore. It’s a system to try to help those not familiar with accounting. Thank you for trying to help though. I appreciate your time and the community as this group is working very hard to help users overcome the errors of Quickbooks choices.
