Question

I work for myself through Amazon delivering packages. I turn my mileage on when I get to the warehouse and I have to turn it off at the last delivery this Sunday today and last Sunday date. Retain I don't know what to do or if I can get it back.

I can share some information with mileage tracking, @colbyharper.

The mileage tracker should be turned on to automatically detect and track everything from start to finish of your trip.

If you have turned off your automatic mileage tracking feature, QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) will not be able to track trips during that period. You can still add those trips manually. However, you'll the one to provide the distance of the trip

Here's how to add a trip manually on iOS device (iPhone or iPad) and on an Android device (phone or tablet):

  1. Tap the Mileage menu and select the Plus icon (+) and then Create trip.
  2. Enter the trip details.
  3. When you're done, select Save.

You can refer to the following article for more information about adding and reviewing your mileage trips: Manually track mileage in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

In case you've encountered problems tracking your work trips, here's an article that'll guide you in resolving it: Fix mileage tracking issues in QuickBooks Self-Employed .

Let me know if there's anything that I can help in recording your mileage trips by leaving a reply below. Take care and have a wonderful day!
