The timeframe for these types of transactions will depend on the funding period you choose in QBO. Here are the following:

 

  • Same-day: Employees are paid on the same day that you provide us with your payroll. Only Elite or Premium versions of QuickBooks Online Payroll offer this.
  • Next-day: After you provide us with your paycheck, we pay the employees on the next banking day.
  • 2-day: Workers are paid two banking days after you send your payroll to us.
  • 5-day: Workers are paid five banking days after you send your payroll to us.
