If I efile my w2's and 1099's, do I need to send w3 and 1096 transmittal forms to the IRS?

Thank you for dropping by here in the Community. Allow me to chime in and provide some information about 1099s and 1096. According to the IRS's recent publication Form1096, there's no need to submit 1096 if you already e-filed 1099.
