I see the importance in ensuring our employee’s withholding is accurate, jsmith0215.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), we can review the Payroll Tax Liability report to determine whether a payment has been generated. It might be the reason tax displaying as zero.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the search bar, type Payroll Tax Liability.
  3. Review your transactions in the report.

Nonetheless, if all the details have been verified and are accurate, I recommend reaching out to your state tax agency. They possess your tax information and can provide you with information regarding the withheld taxes.

Additionally, running payroll reports in QBO is a breeze. With this, you can easily get a summary of your employee details, company finances, and business information.
