Increase worked hours for payroll

How do I increase the hours worked for an individual employee on in a specific pay period? There's an option to decrease hours but I can't find anyway to increases the hours.

You can increase the employee's worked hours when running the payroll for a specific pay period. I'll be happy to guide you through the steps.

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Click Payroll from the left menu, then select Employees.
  3. Select Run payroll.
  4. Choose the employee's pay schedule you want to pay.
  5. Under the Regular Pay field, increase the working hours. 
  6. Then, click Preview payroll and Submit payroll.
