Intermittent mileage tracking. No tech support. And call backs do not answer questions. They just pass it off

I am losing business mileage. QuickBooks support has no interest in correcting the issue

You've got me here to provide some steps to help fix this mileage data loss issue so you can get back on track.

 

You can try checking the Audit Log of your account to check what happened to the mileage data. This area keeps track of your activities in the audit log. You can see who made changes to your books and what they did.

 

To do that:

 

1. Go to the Gear icon.

2. Under Tools, click Audit Log.

3. Select Filter

4. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.

5. Select Apply

If the data has been deleted, you'll need to enter them again since we're unable to recover them.

 

However, if it's not showing as deleted, I suggest accessing your account in a private window. This can help us isolate if the problem has something to do with your browser.

 

Know that corrupted cache files may affect your browsing experience in QuickBooks Online.

 

These are the keyboard shortcuts you can use for private window:

 

• For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.

• For Internet Explorer or Firefox, hit Ctrl + Shift + P.

• For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

 

If it works fine, you can clear the cache that helps delete any necessary content saved and enables your browser to function more efficiently.
