Hi simk932667,

Thank you for getting help in the Community. I'll guide you through checking your 941 forms.

If you will or have e-filed your tax form, or we filed for you:

  1. Select Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
  2. Select the Filings tab.
  3. View your current tax forms in the ACTION NEEDED or COMING UP section. Or select Resources, then Archived forms and filings for past forms.
    • If available, select Preview to view forms not yet filed.

If you manually filed your tax form:

  1. Go to Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
  2. Select the Filings tab.
  3. Select Resources, then Archived forms and filings.
  4. Select the  dropdown menu to filter the form type you want to view.
  5. Select the form name, then View.

Feel free to go back to this thread if you have more questions in mind. Take care.

My 941's are not listed in the archive, I need Q1 and Q2 2022, nowhere to be found... what do I do now?

Same for us. We are missing 5 quarters dated back to 2020. If Quickbooks files and pays for us, then how are we supposed to check this.

While creating my 2023 940 form for sending by paper, I discovered I did not file for year 2022. When I tried to complete the 2022 in QB it indicated the 2022 form was changed and no longer available. How to I complete the 2022 940 form?

Thanks

Hi there, @Starion.

Let me share insights into how you can complete your 2022 940 tax forms.

Since you weren't able to file the 2022 940 Forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you'll need to file it outside to complete the form. Also, I recommend reaching out IRS for further guidance.

Additionally, I recommend visiting this article to learn how to correct and amend quarterly forms in QuickBooks Online: File quarterly tax forms.

Keep us posted if you need further guidance with the 940 forms in QuickBooks. Have a good one.
