Is anyone else experiencing an issue with the desktop when a new tab is opened it sends all other open tabs back to the home screen? I lose my place and any unsaved work

thank you for your quick response.  Unfortunately, resetting the app data, as well as uninstalling/reinstalling did not change the situation.  When I right click on the QB desktop app it does not give me the option to run it as an administrator.
