Is anyone else having a problem with the add trip button in the mileage section of the app? I’m trying to enter trips and that part of the app keeps freezing.

Let me help you fix the add trip button to enter mileage trips seamlessly in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @jiacinto.

 

You can perform the basic troubleshooting steps to get you back on track.

 

Clearing the cache for your mobile app speeds up the overall navigation experience. The process differs for each device.

 

For iOS:

  1. On your phone, click the Settings icon to choose the General menu.
  2. From there, select iPhone Storage and then tap the Offload App option to free the cache.

 

Android device:

  1. Go to Settings to choose Apps.
  2. From the list, pick QuickBooks Self-Employed and click on Storage to select the Clear Data option.

 

Next, turn off and then restart your device. This process will refresh the app and resolves any unexpected behavior while using QBSE.

 

If none of these suggestions work, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app to start on a clean slate. I’m adding links to get the installer for the mobile version.
