Hi there, @Jayada8787.

I understand your frustration with the repeated holds on your direct deposits. Your feedback about your experience with our tech support is valuable, and I'll make sure to document it and share it with the relevant team. They will review your recent interactions and take necessary steps to improve your overall experience with QuickBooks.

To help you address the issue, can you tell me if your concern is related to QuickBooks Payments or Direct Deposits from your clients?

In case you're referring to QuickBooks Payments, I'd suggest checking your payment status to know if there's an issue with the deposit. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. From the homepage, select Activities & Reports and then Deposits.
  3. Choose the date range in the Dates field.
  4. Click Search.

If you see Withheld or Batch Deposit Returned in the Status column. That means there's an issue with your deposit. You can click the drop-down arrow in the Fee column to review its details. You'll get an email from us with steps to fix the issue.

If you're using Direct Deposits for contractors, your account may be on hold because the debit was returned due to an issue with your bank account. To get this resolved, I'd suggest following the steps outlined in this article: What to do if you have an NSF hold on your payroll service.
