Payroll processing can be a tricky process at times, but QuickBooks Online (QBO) makes it simple and manageable.

Though you can also check other platforms to see which one works for you. For now, let me show you how to run payroll in QBO. Here’s how:

1. Go to the Payroll menu, then select Run payroll.
2. Select a pay schedule, then Continue.
3. Select the employees you want to pay.
4. Choose the correct bank account, pay period, and pay date.
5. Enter the worked hours, then click Preview Payroll.
6. You can click the Pencil icon next to the net pay to edit or preview a specific check.
7. Select OK when done.
8. Press Submit payroll.
9. To print paychecks, select Print paychecks, then Finish payroll.
