Is it possible to only pay one employee for their lunch in time?

Good day, genisehaynes. I understand you want flexibility around paying an employee for specific hours worked rather than following the pre-set pay schedule.

 

I'd like to let you know that you can use the unscheduled payroll feature to create a one-off paycheck as needed for a single employee. This option gives you the flexibility to create paychecks that are not bound to a specific date, predetermined pay period, or number of hours worked. 

 

This feature is also useful for making one-time payments, such as bonuses, commissions, final paychecks, or fringe benefits, outside of the regular payroll schedule. Let me share these steps with you:

 

  1. Go to the Payroll section and proceed to the Employees tab.
  2. Click Run payroll.
  3. Select the employee that you want to pay, then make sure the pay period and check date are correct.
  4. Enter the number of hours in the Regular pay column.
  5. Click Preview payroll and follow the succeeding steps to create the paycheck.
