Let me help you set up Two-step verification on your account, @kimberly-mecole-.
QuickBooks Online (QBO) has a Two-step verification setting that forces Multi-Factor Authentication to a specific step on every log-in attempt. Where you need to verify using a code sent to your mobile phone, that you're the one accessing your account every time. This disables the usual multi-factor authentication. Here's how to enable it:
In the “Two-step verification” section, select Turn on.
Make sure your phone number is correct, then select how you want to verify your account:
Text message. You receive a standard six-digit verification text code.
Voice call. You receive an automated voice verification code in English.
Select Turn on.
Enter the code, then press Continue.
To learn more about this one, check out this article:Verify your QuickBooks Online account with multi-factor authentication or two-step verification. Also, the two-step verification works when using your Google login. You'll be able to sign in to your QuickBooks Online through your Google account once it has been integrated. Make sure that the two-step verification with Google Authenticator was turned on. To do that:
Select Security and then click Edit next to Two-step verification.
Click Turn on Authenticator app and follow the onscreen instructions.
Know that you have to use the Authenticator app to create your verification codes. Get the iPhone version at the App Store or the Android version through Google Play. The Google Authenticator isn't available for Windows phones.
