Is Quickbook Time related to Payroll? I have duplicate names in the Time. I also have employees who no longer work for us. Do I erase them in time?

If I erase in Time, will it erase their files as well? What do I do?

QuickBooks Time is a separate product from QuickBooks Payroll, but they can be integrated to work together. If you have duplicate names in QuickBooks Time or employees who no longer work for your company, it's best to address these issues directly in QuickBooks Time.

 

When you remove an employee from QuickBooks Time, it will not erase their files in QuickBooks Payroll or any other connected systems. However, it's important to ensure that you have properly handled their employment status and payroll information in QuickBooks Payroll as well.

 

To address the duplicate names and former employees in QuickBooks Time, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Time account and navigate to the employee list.
