It's a pleasure to assist you today, lopez granite installations.

First of all, may I ask if you encounter an error message when trying to export transactions from Online to Desktop for Mac? I appreciate any extra information you can give and it will help me isolate the issue and provide the best solution.

For now, let me share this resource for fix different scenarios encountered when exporting data: QuickBooks Desktop export troubleshooting (Mac, IIF, & One-Click).

I'm determined to ensure you can view your exported data, lopez granite installations.

Missing data when exporting your 941 federal tax payments is usually caused by the incorrect account names entered in Online Payroll. To rectify this, I'd recommend following these steps:

To start, let's check if there's a new account created. The import will create a new one if it won't appear in the list.

If a new account was created, we'll have to delete it. Then, update the Export Preferences in Online Payroll to select the correct one to use. After that, we can re-export the data.

Also, let's open the IIF export file to verify it contains the information. If it's blank, I encourage clearing the browsing cookies to resolve this. Otherwise, make sure to select the correct date ranges and import the latest payroll .iif file and not a duplicate or an older import file.

For more details, please check out this article: QuickBooks Desktop Export Troubleshooting.

In case none of these fixes the problem, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payroll Team. They're equipped with tools to help you successfully export the data.

Additionally, I've added these QuickBooks Desktop Mac User's Guide files to help you manage the program and ensure accurate tracking. You can browse the version that you're using:

Hi,

I'm having issues exporting after I've processed payroll.  Is that what you are experiencing?

I tried exporting, and it seems to be going through smoothly, @JCD901. I'm here to ensure you can do it on your end as well.

Long-term cache storage can sometimes lead to issues with your browser. I recommend running through some basic troubleshooting steps to see if the problem is with your browser.

Start by opening a private window and logging in to your QuickBooks Online account. The shortcut keys to open it are listed below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If it works, you'll need to return to your main browser and clear the cache. By doing this, unusual browser behavior will be less likely in the future.

If not, try using a different compatible browser.
