Hello there, bob-windhamiga.

Please note that the option for employees to upload an image of their I-9 information via the Workforce account is currently unavailable. I've got insights on how the said form and app work in QuickBooks Online to ensure you can organize them efficiently.

Each employee needs to complete the Employment Eligibility Verification form, often known as Form I-9. which is required by the US government. The employee needs to provide this form and manually submitted to their employers to establish their identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

Then, the employer must also make sure that each employee completes the form and submits the required supporting papers to prove their employment eligibility.

On the other hand, employees use the Workforce app for the following:

Then, although employees are allowed to add or edit their information on the Workforce app, this information is used to ensure that it matches their tax information and keeps the W-4 accurate.

In case you need steps on how you can upload items such as hiring documents, employee contracts, and HR or healthcare records in QBO, you can read this article: Upload employee documents to QuickBooks Online Payroll.
