QBO support says this can't be done within the QBO software. I'm wondering if anyone has found a workaround for this, maybe by integrating with gmail or another program.

Hello there, @freshairnheat-gm.

Thank you for posting in the Community. I'd be delighted to lend a hand in adding a hyperlink.

In order for me to provide you with the best resolution, may I know where you're wishing to add a hyperlink? For example, is this going to be on an invoice or other sales transaction?

If you would like to add a link to your invoice emails, you can follow these steps:

  1. In QuickBooks, click the gear icon (Settings) in the top right.
  2. Click Account and Settings.
  3. Click Sales, then click the green "Customize look and feel" button to create new Custom Form Styles.
  4. In the upper right of your screen, click New style, then hit Invoice.
  5. From the new screen, on the left side, you can edit your invoice template and see a preview on the right side.
  6. Click Emails
  7. Under "Message to the customer" customize the text of the email that will accompany the invoice, paste the link to your payment page, then click Done.

You've now created a new template that you can use to send out invoices. You can apply additional messages (with the link) as default to all sales forms. Or go to settings or the Gear icon, then click Account and Settings, select Sales tab, scroll down and click the Message tab.

Lastly, if you want to accept customer payments online, you can check out this article as your guide: What to do if customers can't pay their invoices online.

Keep me posted in the comments if you have any other questions about your invoice. I'll be here to help.
