Is there another way of updating an employee’s direct deposit info than the direction of the help center? It never gives me the option to edit the banking info.

I am simply trying to update the direct deposit information. I wonder, though, if it will not allow me to change it because there is only one day to payroll.

Following the correct steps to edit employee direct deposit information should enable you to edit the bank info.

 

Since the option is unavailable on your end, I suggest contacting our Payroll Support Team. Our phone representatives have the option to pull up your account in a secure manner while maintaining your privacy. Also, they can thoroughly check on why the option is unavailable and initiate a further investigation if needed.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the (?) Help icon in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Select the Search tab, and click Contact Us.
  3. Enter a brief discussion of your concern and click Continue.
  4. Select either Chat with us (if you prefer messaging) or Give us a call.
