Is there any issue with QBO since the amount box in "Pay down credit card" is missing.

I am trying to pay down credit card today but the amount box is missing. I was able to do it last month.

For the time being, we haven't received official reports from affected users about the missing amount box (How much did you pay? field) using the Pay down credit card feature. This display/feature functionality issue is likely browser-related, so let's work together to troubleshoot and fix this.

 

Let's start by pulling up your QuickBooks account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

 

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

 

Once signed in, go to the + New button and select Pay down credit card to record payments you make to your credit cards.

 

If the amount box is available and you're able to enter all the necessary data of your credit card payment, return to your default browser and clear its cache. After that, log out and then log back into your account. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. 

 

However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers. Then, you can contact our Customer Care team for further investigation.

 

Additionally, match your downloaded credit card transactions to avoid duplicates and reconcile your account regularly (monthly) to keep your financial data updated.
