You'll not be notified when the direct deposit made for you is posted into your account unless your bank has a feature that notifies you when there is a deposit. I suggest monitoring your bank account to see if the fund is already reflected in there.

If you're an employee, you can also check your paystub in Workforce on your payday.

As for the timeline, we follow the banking days, therefore Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays don't count. Also, employers follow different lead times, depending on their subscription. For example, if your payday is on Tuesday and your employer follows a 2-day lead time, they need to submit the direct deposit 2 banking days (Friday) before 5 PM PST prior to the payday. If they submit it after 5 PM, the process will start on Monday, so you will receive it on Wednesday.
