Issues with QuickBooks online have made it impossible to complete essential tasks for the operation of our organization and compliance with federal regulations.
We are writing to urgently request resolution to the persistent and severe issues we have
experienced since transitioning to QuickBooks Online after our Desktop license expired in May.
Since the transition, we have encountered numerous recurring problems with the software that
have significantly disrupted and, at times, invalidated our payroll processes.
Our accounting team has collectively spent over 60 hours on the phone with QuickBooks
customer service representatives. Despite these efforts, the solutions provided have been
consistently faulty or incomplete, leaving us unable to perform essential, basic accounting
duties. These issues threaten the ability of our organization to function and operate and raises
serious concerns about our compliance with federal regulations. Customer service has failed to
provide a satisfactory remedy to this series of problems.
Given QuickBooks’ failure to provide the services it advertises and for which our organization
has paid, we are prepared to escalate this matter. If an immediate resolution is not provided,
we intend to file formal complaints with the appropriate regulatory agencies and consider legal
action. Our legal team has been briefed on the situation and is prepared to take further action
to protect our organization.
