It is saying that my employees profiles need attention before i can run payroll

Congrats on making your first post here in the Community. Let's work together so that you're able to run payroll in your QuickBooks Online account. 

 

To clarify, can you provide me with the details of what the employee profile needs or does it give you additional information about what the profile needs before moving forward?

Hello, billingatsoho.

 

I see you replied to this thread and had the same problem with the payroll setup before processing payroll.

 

Most of the time, there will be a yellow exclamation mark on the employee's profile indicating that tax information is missing. With that, I recommend that you review the Tax withholding section for employees. Since these are the details you must complete before running the payroll.  Here's an article that you can use as a guide: Get started with QuickBooks Online Payroll. 

 

If you've double-checked and confirmed that everything is in place, but the problem persists, I recommend contacting our Support Team. They have the resources necessary to conduct further investigation and, if necessary, create a ticket.

 

To reach them:

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click on Help (?).
  3. Select the Search tab, then Contact Us.
  4. Enter a brief description of your concern, then Continue.
  5. Choose a way to connect:

 

  • Start a chat with live support.
  • Get a callback from the next available support.
