In QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, the timing of your direct deposit depends on the lead time set by your payroll service. Generally, for a Friday payday, payroll should be submitted by Thursday before 5:00 PM PT (7:00 PM CST) for next-day deposits. Since your employer deposited at 7:51 PM CST on Thursday, it might be processed on the next business day, which could delay the deposit to your Varo account until Monday.

However, some banks process deposits faster, so there’s still a chance you might see the funds on Friday. It’s best to check with Varo for their specific processing times.
