Why is my milage not being logged.

We can explore some troubleshooting options so your mobile or laptop resumes tracking mileage in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @weberhomerepair1.

 

If you're using an Android mobile device, we'd want to inform you that there's an ongoing investigation about the issue you're experiencing. To add you to the list of affected users, I recommend reaching out to our customer support team. This way, you'll be notified on the status of the investigation via email. 

 

If you have an iOS, verify if the auto-tracking feature is enabled in the QBO mobile app. Once done, check the general location settings to confirm that the app can run in the background. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Settings and select the QuickBooks app.
  2. Tap Location, then select Always.
  3. Turn on the Motion & Fitness, Background App Refresh, and Cellular Data options.
  4. Close your settings.
  5. If prompted about background location use, tap Always Allow.
