I've got you covered, @retertertert.

Let me help you go over your app settings so you can track trips accurately in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

When you enable mileage tracking in the QBSE app, it records your work trips automatically. However, we can adjust your device settings if you notice any missing or inaccurate trips on your phone.

If you're using an Android device, we can perform several troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

First, you can check the location settings on your device. Ensure you've allowed the QBSE app to run in the background. Since Android devices and operating systems vary, you can use Google's steps for accurate location tracking.

Next, I'd recommend turning off your device's Wi-Fi setting before your trip to ensure accurate tracking. Your trip won't be properly recorded if your phone connects to a Wi-Fi network.

For additional troubleshooting options, please visit this article: Fix mileage tracking issues in QuickBooks Self-Employed for Android.

If you're using an iOS device, please refer to the instructions in this link: Fix mileage tracking issues in QuickBooks Self-Employed for iOS.

Moreover, you'll have to file a Schedule C form to report your earnings and expenses. When you categorize a transaction, QBSE matches it to a line on your Schedule C.
