Mileage not on mobile app

Mileage option was on app but now its not. Followed video and its not an option worked the first week I downloaded it but now there isn't an option to start a trip.

With the QuickBooks Online mobile app, you can easily track your mileage on the go, making it convenient to manage your business expenses. Sometimes, outdated applications can cause display issues. To fix this, it's essential to update them. Updates can enhance existing features, patch security flaws, add new features, fix bug issues, and improve app stability.

 

After updating your app, and the issue persists. We can verify if the mileage tracking feature is available by refreshing the app and checking for the specific option. To do so, follow the steps below:

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Go to Settings, then tap General.
  2. Tap iPhone Storage, then tap the QuickBooks Online app.
  3. Tap Offload App.
  4. This will free up the storage without deleting your app's documents and data.

 

For Android:

 

  1. Go to Menu, then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Tap Settings and Refresh Data.
  3. Tap YES to confirm.

 

However, if you cannot locate the mileage tracking option, we can uninstall and reinstall your mobile app.

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Tap and hold the problematic app's icon.
  2. When the menu appears, select the Remove App option.

 

For Android:

 

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. At the top right, tap the Profile icon.
  3. Tap Manage apps & Manage devices.
  4. Select the name of the app you want to delete.
  5. Tap Uninstall.

 

Within the mileage tracking feature, you can record your business mileage by entering the starting and ending locations, along with any additional details, such as the purpose of the trip.
