Thanks for checking with us, paul199. Let's get this working for you.

If you're tracking mileage via a web browser, we can perform basic troubleshooting steps to isolate the problem. To start with, you can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page.

If you're still getting the same result, let's access your account on a private or incognito window. You can use these shortcut keys depending on the browser you're using:

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

Once signed in, go back to your mileage tracker and check if it's automatically calculating from there. If it rectifies the issue, go back to your main portal and clear its cache to remove the browser's history or you can press CTRL+Shift and Delete key on your keyboard altogether. You may also try accessing your account using another supported browser.

However, if you're using the mobile app, you can refer to this write-up to resolve mileage issues in QuickBooks Online: Fix mileage tracking issues in the QuickBooks Online mobile app. On the same link, you'll find tips on how to track your trips accurately.

I want to be your main point of contact, so please let me know if you have any other concerns. I'm always ready to assist further. Have a good one.
