Mileage tracking is on and set to auto and app is set to update in the background. Mileage stopped tracking August 27 until today?

If I’m paying for a service I’d expect it to not drop out like that, please help, I drive a lot for work and need this part of my QB to function as it should

To begin, review the general location settings on your phone or tablet. Make sure the QuickBooks mobile app can run in the background. This way, it will track trips even when it is not open and active on your screen.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Proceed to your iPhone or iPad's Settings.
  2. Scroll down and choose the QuickBooks app.
  3. Click Location and then select Always.
  4. Turn on the Motion & FitnessBackground App Refresh, and Cellular Data options.
  5. Close your settings.
  6. If you see a message about background location use, select Always Allow

 

Your device and app are now set up to track trips in the background. Switching to a different app shouldn't interrupt mileage tracking. 

 

If you're using an Android, Use Google's steps to ensure QuickBooks can run in the background since Android devices have slightly different operating systems, the steps vary by device.
