My bank has updated their website. Quikbooks does not recognize the new updated website address. Quikbooks has kept my account balance the exact same for six months. Help

Hi there, @roadietheranchdo.

 

Let's update your Banking page to your bank connection in QuickBooks Online (QBO). That way, you'll be able to download your latest banking transactions.  

 

Before we proceed, can you share with me the name of your financial institution? This will help me check for any ongoing investigation that could be related to your banking concern. 

Here's how to update your bank in the system to refresh its connection:

 

  1. Click the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select the bank account that you're working with.
  4. Click Update.

 

If the issue still persists, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to check if the issue is cache-related.

 

Access your QBO account in a private window. This allows the program to run without storing cache or cookies that might cause some problems when running Intuit sites. 

 

Simply press the following shortcut keys to open this mode:

 

  • Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

 

Once done, click again the Update button. If this works, go back to the regular browser and clear the cache. This will refresh the background process of your browser settings. If the same thing happens, use another supported browser

Utilize the trial version of MT Online to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank or connection.
