My contractors have not received notifications that their 1099s have been posted. Three contractors have opted to receive printed 1099s which I have paid for and show as being mailed.  My W-2 employees have not received their mailed forms either.  When should they be receiving these?

Contractors will receive their 1099 forms within seven business days following January 31st, JonTexas. Let me provide you with some additional details that will help clarify the distribution process.

All e-filed 1099 forms will be mailed to your worker's registered address on their profile by January 31st. Please note that delivery time may vary depending on United States Postal Service (USPS) processing times, potential weather-related delays, and the specific characteristics of the mailing address. We recommend that contractors thoroughly check their email spam and junk folders to ensure these notifications, as they may be misdirected there.

For employees, W-2 forms will be mailed to their registered address via USPS between January 16 and January 31. Given that we've passed the deadline for receiving the W-2 tax documents, I recommend contacting our live support team. Our live experts will promptly investigate and provide a comprehensive resolution to ensure your workers receive their essential tax documents.
