I can share with some steps on how to get around this issue, @davieanesthesia.

What we can do is to toggle your payroll account by changing it to your savings account and changing it back to your checking account. Let me show you how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Select Payroll settings.
  3. Click Accounting under Preferences.
  4. Select Edit in the Paycheck and payroll tax payments section.
  5. From the Bank account drop-down, select your savings account and click Continue.
  6. Click the drop-down again and select your checking account.
  7. Select Continue, then Done.

You can also see this link for more details: Change your accounting preferences in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Once done, log out and log back in to your account to refresh the system and for the changes to take effect.

When everything is all set, you might want to check out this link for reference in filing your taxes efficiently: Pay and file payroll taxes and forms in Online Payroll.

I'll be around to help you whenever you need help with your payroll taxes. Keep me posted by leaving a reply. Keep safe and have a great day ahead!
