Name of payroll withholding incorrect on paycheck

The name of a chosen payroll withholding is incorrect on an already issued paycheck. Can the paycheck be edited to reflect correctly on the employees W2? I do not want to delete the Payroll list item as it is used for other employees.

I can share some information about resolving the name of the payroll withholding on an already issued paycheck, @46Sandy

 

You can edit the paycheck to update your payroll withholding. This will update your paycheck information directly for the payroll and works if you haven’t sent your payroll to us yet.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu and select Use Register.
  2. Select your bank account and then the OK button.
  3. Click and open the check.
  4. Choose Paycheck Detail and update the paycheck as needed.
  5. Click on OK once you're done
  6. Click on Save & Close then Yes.
