Need annual tracking for employee absences and tardies

Does Quickbooks Time integrate with any Time tracking apps?  It just doesn't seem to have what I need for time tracking.  I will need to know at year end how many absences and tardies each employee has for year-end bonuses.  I can't see that I can do this with Quickbooks Time.  Anyone have any ideas?  Kind regards!

Hello, Hrstar.

Yes, QuickBooks Time can be integrated with any time tracking software. For a list of available apps that can be integrated, kindly visit this link: App Marketplace.

You can run a tardies and absences report in QuickBooks Time. For the annual tracking, just make sure to choose the Custom date range.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Select Schedule Reports
  3. Click Tardies.
  4. Choose which groups or team members to include in the report: At the top left, do one of the following:
    • Leave the report set to all team members.
    • Select all team members, select a group or team member(s), and select OK.
  5. Under REPORT DATES, select the Custom date range, and select the week or dates.
  6. To select the minimum number of minutes late to include on the report, under TARDY (MINUTES), select 1, 5, 10, or 20. (For example, if you select 5, team members who were 1-4 minutes late will not be included in the report.)
  7. Hit Run Report.
  8. (Optional) Click Include absences.

For your reference, you can read this article for more details: Run tardies and absences report in QuickBooks Time.

I've also included this resource for future assistance with time management for team members: Approve, unapproved, and reject timesheets in QuickBooks Time.

Let me know if you need anything else. Have a great day.
