New employee did not receive their direct deposit- may have given us incorrect account number- where do I start?

When an employee doesn't receive their funds on payday, it could have something to do with their account details or there could be a problem with the account on their financial institution's end. Usually, the direct deposit rejects and the money will be refunded to your business bank account within 2-3 banking days after their pay date.

 

When this occurs, Intuit recommends paying the worker with a paper check for the time being. You can also get in touch with our Customer Care team directly to request a direct deposit trace. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment and conduct further research with you.

Here's how:

  1. Use the Help (?) icon.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter a description of your situation in the What can we help you with? field, then hit Let's talk.
  4. Select Start messaging or Get a call.
