My payroll was reactivated for 7 clients and now every time I do payroll, which is weekly, it says ( QuickBooks Desktop Information; Your Payroll Information was sent successfully)  There is no Direct Deposit and nothing has changed other than being reactivated.  I did not set this up and would like to stop it.

I can help you with removing the prompt that you have when trying to process your payroll, @nikitab04

You can remove the prompt by updating your tax table. Having the newest tax table in QuickBooks Payroll to stay compliant with paycheck. Just go to the Employees to get the latest update.

Here are the steps:

  1. Go to Employees, then select Get Payroll Updates.
  2. Click on Download Entire Update and select Update

Refer to this article for more information about getting the latest tax table update in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll. It'll let you know your tax table version and then troubleshoot payroll tax table update errors you'll possibly encounter.

In case same error persists, login to your Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) for QuickBooks Desktop and then log out. It'll tell you more about signing in to CAMPs and how to use it: Change, manage or update your Intuit account with CAMPs.

Let me know if you need further help with your direct deposit prompt. I'm always here to assist. Keep safe, and have a wonderful day!

Did you ever get the right answer to your question. I would like to know when state’s information sent successfully. Where the heck is it going and to who????

Hi Wayne,

It isn't the kind of experience we want you to come across.

Have you tried updating the tax table? Updating it helps isolate what causes the error. You can follow the steps shared by my colleague.

If you already have the updated one, I'd suggest reaching out to our payroll support team so we can create an investigation about it. Here's how:

  1. From the Help menu, select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter a few descriptions of your concerns and then click Continue.
  4. Continue with the on-screen instructions to contact our team successfully.

Furthermore, you can check this article for your tax management guide: E-file and e-pay forms.

You can always post in the forum whenever you have tax-related concerns.
