Question

On payroll tax center it says I have a new notice, but when I click it it just takes me to the help page. How do I find the notice?

It does say "upload documents and get help resolving your notice." I'm new to QB online after being a decade + user of desktop and payroll

I understand where you come from and I'm here to share what I know, @waditah.

I can help you find the notice and guide you on how to upload the documents.

You'll see this under your Filings resources in the Payroll tax tab. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Taxes, then select Payroll tax.
  2. Under the Filings resources, select Tax Notice.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps to send your notice to Intuit.

Once you get the tax notice, you’ll get a confirmation sent to your email with a case number and additional details. When complete, a tax specialist will email you with the required resolution, any steps we have taken on your behalf, and further action needed from you. Make sure to email each federal or state notice to taxnoticeresolution@intuit.com.

In addition, you can check the status of your notice inside QuickBooks by following these steps:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ then under Tools, and then select Resolution center.
  2. Select the Payroll tab.
  3. Find your tax notice. Select View details.
  4. Review the information about your notice.
