Hey there, @seehamqbo.

It's a pleasure to have you here. I'll help you identify why the Service field is empty even after choosing an item and why it doesn't populate the rate. I'm here to ensure you can enter all the information needed for your sales receipt.

Issues like this happen when too much historical data are stored in your browser. Whenever you visit a website, it saves some information from the web page in its cache and cookies. These files allow the websites you visit most often to load faster. Not to worry, clearing them will do the trick.

First, let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

After logging in, create a sales receipt and select your service item. If there's no issue, I recommend clearing your browser's cache so you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also use a different supported browser.

Additionally, make sure you set up your products and service items with all the necessary details to track how much you make and spend on each one.

Please update me on how it goes and if you have any further concerns with recording your transactions. I'm always around to help. Have a wonderful day!
