My balance sheet for the year is showing a low profit so I checked the breakdown and found only the last month of the year. Why would that be?

I can help you handle this so you can have your balance sheet complete, @DaveMark8472.

You can review your transactions to verify the affected accounts and items associated. Doing this helps us determine which month of the year you got an issue that impacts the balance sheet producing low profit.

You can generate Transaction reports like Transaction Detail by Account to do it. I’m glad to show you the steps:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Type in ”Transaction,” then select Transaction Detail by Account.
  3. Click Customize.
  4. Filter the date and other needed info.
  5. Select Run report.

I’ve attached a reference in case you want to keep the same report settings for future use: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online. It helps you access the information quickly to save time.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns besides the balance sheet. I’ll be here to help you out. Keep safe always!
