Question

Our payroll is no longer being directly deposited as it had in the past. No messages as to what is the problem. Nothing has changed in banking info

If your workers didn't get their funds on payday, there might be something wrong with their account. 

 

Most of the time, the direct deposit rejects and the money will be refunded to the business bank account within 2-3 banking days after the pay date. 

 

If your worker doesn’t receive their money the day after the pay date, contact our QuickBooks Payroll Support Team. This way, they can perform a direct deposit trace.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner and click Talk to a human.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
  4. Select Get help from a human.
  5. Choose between Chat with usSchedule an appointment, or Have us call you.
