Our property has increased the monthly HOA amount for everyone. How do I do this in Quickbooks online?

Thank you for raising your concern here in the Community, @LB0ST. I'll make sure to help you out.

If you already recorded your HOA in QuickBooks Online, you can update the amount of the item in the Product and Services menu.

Here's how:
 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then Products and Services.
  2. Locate the product or service you want to change.
  3. Select Edit in the Action column.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. Once done, select Save and close.
     

If you you haven't set up your HOA yet, here's how:
 

  1. Create service item for dues.
  2. Link it to a dues income account.
  3. Create invoice or a sales receipt to track payment for each member.
     

I'd also recommend you reach to your accountant to verify and guide you the correct way to do it.
