When running a new payroll, please make sure to select the correct pay period to avoid any issue. In most cases, an incorrect period prevents you from processing your employee's paycheck.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click on Payroll at the left pane, then tap on Run Payroll.
  3. Pick the correct dates from the Pay period and Pay date section.
