Pay stubs

One of our employees has requested multiple pay stubs--33 to be exact. Is there a way to print more than one to a page? I can print on both sides of the paper, but that is still 17 pages. Any way to make this more efficient?

Hi there, @HaroldsTrans.

I hope you're enjoying the evening so far. I appreciate you taking the time to join us in the Community. Nice to have you here.

At this time, we can only print pay stubs on a single piece of paper. Your recommendation to print on both sides of the paper would be the best suggestion. However, I agree that there should be a better way to make this a little more efficient when printing multiple pay stubs at once, to save on paper. I went ahead and personally submitted feedback to our Product Development Team, so this can be considered in a future update. Our product developers review each feedback request and will sometimes choose them to include in future updates.

In the meantime, you can see the options we currently have available in this help article: Print pay stubs in QuickBooks Desktop.

Please let me know in the comments if you have additional questions or concerns. Take care!

Your response shows how managers can print out an employee's pay stub, but can an employee print their own pay stub? I can't find where to do this on the quickbooks time website.

Thanks for joining this thread, pf2020.

I'd be glad to provide some info about employees printing their pay stubs in QuickBooks Time.

Your QB Time account will keep track of the time for you but doesn't contain the actual paycheck details. To print pay stub info the employee would need to access their Workforce account. Additionally, the manager or admin can print the stub from the payroll section within QuickBooks.

Please feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions or concerns. I'll be here to help in any way that I can.

Did I receive a payment today

Angelyn_T

I appreciate you for joining the thread, @LCourville64. I'm here to help you with your payment transaction.

If I may ask, are you referring to the paycheck or payroll created by your employer? If so, you may reach out to them and ask about the payment. If the check was processed through direct deposit, the employer must send the transaction to Intuit before 5 p.m., Pacific Time, two federal banking days before your paycheck date. This is to guarantee that your direct deposit is processed on time.

To learn more about the process, you can check out this article: Send payroll and direct deposit paychecks in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll.

I'm also adding this link to learn more about payroll in QuickBooks Desktop: Help on common payroll topics.

On the other hand, if you're trying to receive customer payments, you track the status of your funds by searching for deposits in the Merchant Service Center.

I'm adding these links for more tips about handling payment transactions in QuickBooks:

Let me know if you're referring to something else. I'm more than happy to provide additional assistance. Wishing you a good one!

Hello, edualc.

I can show you how to view your pay stubs in QuickBooks. As an employee, you'll have to ask for an invitation directly from your employer so that he/she will grant you access to view your paychecks online.

Then, check out this article to learn more about how you can accept the invitation and access your paychecks online: QuickBooks Workforce - Access your Paychecks and W-2’s Online.

Take a look at these articles for more information about the process above:

We are always open to help should you have any other concerns with QuickBooks. Have a lovely day ahead and stay safe!

We appreciate you for joining us here in the thread, Chris. I see how essential the paystubs are to you right now. Let me help you regarding your missing pay stubs.

To obtain your missing pay stubs, you can contact your employer and request that they send the pay stubs in PDF format. If you use QuickBooks Workforce, you may also access it to check for missing paystubs and upload them to keep a copy. Let me show you how:

In your Workforce, click Paychecks.
Choose the date that you want to see the missing pay stubs.
After that, do one of the following:

Choose Download on the pay stub to download.
Select a pay stub to open and view, then download or print it once needed.
To download all of your pay stubs at once, hit Download All.

On the other hand, you may also visit this link as a guide to understand more about the income tax that shows in your paycheck: Understand the income tax on your paycheck.

Let me know if you have further queries with your missing pay stubs in QBDT. I'm here to assist. Take care!
