Welcome to the Community, SJ. Let me provide details on using Direct Deposit in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

When processing a paycheck as a Direct Deposit in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), the deposited amount will be the net pay, which is the total pay amount after all necessary deductions. Therefore, verifying the net pay amount before initiating the Direct Deposit transfer is important to ensure accuracy and avoid discrepancies. You can run an audit trail report to confirm if the transaction was set up correctly.

Here's how:

  1. Open your QBDT software.
  2. Go to Reports.
  3. Select Accountant & Taxes, then choose Audit Trail.

From there, you can see the changes made in your company file and software on the Audit Trail page. You can also configure the reports to specify the displayed data by clicking on the Customize Report tab.

Additionally, this material will help you create personalized reports in QBDT: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop

If there's anything else you need assistance with regarding your QBDT pay stubs, SJ. I'd be more than willing to lend you a hand.
