Paycheck was process by hours and not salary

A salaried employee was paid based on an hourly rate.  This is a new employee, their first paycheck, so I don't know how QB picked up hours worked (the new employee didn't even come close to working the number of hours QB says). Nor do I know where QB picked up an hourly rate, as the employee is set as "Salary".

I have included a screenshot so you can see it says the employee is Salary, and it shows hours and an hourly rate.

Thank you for the screenshot, arundles. I'll help you check this out.

 

Can you please check the employee's profile and go to the Pay types section. Does it also say Salary in there? If yes, you can do the browser troubleshooting steps like using a private window and clearing your cached files. If not, please contact our QBO Support to check this further using more tools.

 

Shortcut keys for private browsing:

 

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

 

Contact QBO Support:

 

  1. Click Help and choose Search.
  2. Click Contact us at the bottom.
  3. Enter a summary of your concern and click Continue.
  4. Select Chat or Get a callback.
