Paycom GL Import

I just started using Paycom to run payroll. They say all I need to do is download the GL report and import it into quickbooks desktop. The report is .iif

I imported it, fixed the errors, imported it again and it said successfully imported. I see no where in my quickbooks file the payroll info it should have imported. Am I supposed to do something else with this file? Where should it be?

Hi there, @rcagle.

 

I understand the importance of being able to seamlessly import and keep track of your payroll data to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). Allow me to share some info on how you can achieve this.

 

We can only use IIF files to export payroll data from Intuit Online Payroll/Intuit Full Service Payroll to QBDT. You may consider using an importer tool to upload your Paycom general ledger. QuickBooks supports various third-party applications for any functionality you may need. You can visit our Intuit App Center to look for an app.

 

Here's how:
 

  1. Go to https://desktop.apps.com/home.
  2. From the QuickBooks Compatibility section, choose the QuickBooks Desktop version you're using.
  3. Type in the clue word of the specific app you're looking for in the Search field and click the magnifying glass to search.
